The first Visit at Our Clinic may be the start of your Fertility Journey
If a pregnancy does not start as expected or if You wish to become a parent through the use of donor gametes, the first Consultation at our clinic provides plenty of information and hopefully releases some stress as well.
During the first consultation we get to know each other and understand your situation. You will meet a doctor who will supervise your care and will be responsible for your treatment plan. Your will also have our nursing and laboratory team and often another doctor supporting you throughout your Journey.
You can contact us as soon as you feel that an expert opinion would be helpful. No referral is needed. You can call, book an appointment online or submit a contact form and we will get in touch with you.
It’s advisable to allocate 1-1.5 hours for the initial visit. Any necessary investigations can typically be initiated immediately.
If you are in a relationship, it is important for both partners to attend the first Consultation together.
Previous treatments elsewhere
Some of our clients have undergone treatments elsewhere. During the first visit to Dextra Fertility Clinic, the doctor reviews your current situation, conducted tests, and treatments. Tests conducted elsewhere do not need to be repeated, and the planning of a new treatment can also be initiated during the first visit.

The aim of the investigations is to find the cause of infertility
If pregnancy does not occur within a year after discontinuing contraception, it is advisable to investigate potential reasons. Based on discussions during the initial visit, we conduct only essential tests for your treatment. Our initial investigations include cycle monitoring, tubal patency assessment, and semen analysis.
Following these tests, we aim to swiftly identify the cause of infertility and start treatments as soon as possible.

You are welcome to book an appointment related to normal pregnancy or high-risk pregnancy, as well as concerns or questions relating to upcoming childbirth. Our doctors have long experience in helping patients with a fear of childbirth.
