MD, PhD, Fertility Specialist, Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Specialist in Gynaecological Endocrinology

I am a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Gynaecological Endocrinology, and I hold a Doctor of Medical Science degree (MD, PhD). I have extensive and diverse experience as a fertility specialist in both public and private healthcare. I have worked at Helsinki University Hospital (now Tilkan Viuhka), as well as at Väestöliitto and Ovumia fertility clinics. I have been working as a fertility specialist at Dextra Fertility Clinic since 2025.

My areas of expertise include fertility treatment, reproductive health counselling, and the impact of lifestyle factors on fertility. I believe in taking a holistic approach to each patient’s situation and providing individually tailored investigations and treatments.

During consultations, I aim to create a calm and trusting atmosphere where every patient feels comfortable discussing their situation and concerns openly. I believe it is important to listen carefully to each patient, provide clear and reliable information, and proceed with investigations and treatments according to a mutually agreed treatment plan.

All blood sampling and procedure appointments are booked by phone or at the clinic (insemination, egg collection, embryo transfer)

Sperm laboratory

You can book an appointment online if you want to have a sperm analysis or vasectomy check-up. Sperm freezing and other test samples (e.g. DFI) are arranged separately with the laboratory. We are available Mon – Fri 8 am – 2.00 pm 045 7733 9994.
