Miia Kaistamaa

I have worked as a Laboratory Director at Dextra Fertility Clinic since January 2023, having previously worked as an IVF biologist at the Clinic for 9 years.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Human Genetics from the University of Helsinki (2008). Additionally, I have a Bachelor of Administrative Sciences degree with a major in Social and Health Management Sciences from Vaasa University, completed in 2022. I obtained the ESHRE Senior Clinical Embryologist certification in 2016.

My professional experience includes working in healthcare genetics laboratories in diagnostic, research, and product development roles from 2005 to 2007. I have worked as an IVF biologist in both public and private sectors since 2007.
